What should we do on the live video?

Do what works for your resort.  As a marketer, you know your audience intimately. You know what they want, how they consume their information, and what types of mediums and platforms make sense. Facebook Live is a new way to connect with people, but you still need to do it in a way that feels true to the brand. Nothing is easier to detect in social media than inauthenticity.

Can I practice by going Live without people seeing my video?
Yes. Just adjust your privacy settings to “Only Me” before you tap the “Go Live” button.

How long can I go Live for?
You can go Live for 5 – 10 minutes for this event. Keep in mind, the first minute people are tuning in. Make sure to repeat who you are and where half-way through your time.

Will I get LSS Support?

Yes!  We will have multiple people on the LSS Facebook page to help support you and the people responding live.  When you're the one holding the camera for a Facebook Live video, it's really hard to see the comments popping up on the mobile screen. If the comments are coming in fast, it's especially easy to lose sight of them as they disappear below the fold.  So, we will monitor the comments while you are recording and after. That way, can concentrate on creating a great experience.  When you end your session, just jump in and help replying to comments.
